Review by a Growth Engineer

My verdict: the simple, cheap, and ultra-effective cold email tool.

It's French and it's the best tool in its segment. I've been using Emelia for years and have never had a reason to switch.

We love the no-bullshit approach: it sends, it lands in inbox, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Ideal for those who want results without cluttering up with useless features.

What I like less: no complex multichannel (LinkedIn, calls) integrated. If you want a truly multichannel approach, look at La Growth Machine or Lemlist.

My advice: if you just want pure cold email, go with Emelia. The value for money is unbeatable, and the tool does exactly what it promises.

Why add it to your stack?

Emelia is my main cold email tool. Why? Because it's French, it works, and it doesn't give me headaches. The no-bullshit approach suits me: no useless features, just what's needed to send sequences that land in inbox.

The value for money is unbeatable. For the price of a basic plan from US competitors, you have more features and French support. For agencies, multi-accounts is a real plus.

The detailed verdict

Do I really need this?

For someone who does cold email regularly, Emelia has become indispensable. It's the tool I open every morning to track my campaigns and optimize my sequences.

Deliverability is solid, warmup works well, and I've never had a major issue in several years of use. For B2B outbound, hard to do without a tool like this.

Does it play nice with my stack?

Integrations cover the essentials: HubSpot, Pipedrive, webhooks. It's sufficient for most workflows. The API allows automating contact import from your enrichment tools.

For deeper integrations (Salesforce, enterprise CRM), it's more limited. But for an agile stack like startup/SMB/agency, native connectors get the job done.

Is it easy to pick up?

Extremely simple. Onboarding takes 15 minutes, campaign creation 10 more minutes. No documentation to read for hours, everything is intuitive.

French support is responsive and competent. If you have a problem, you get a quick answer. It's appreciated compared to US tools where support can be more random.

Is the UX any good?

The interface is clean and gets to the point. No overloaded dashboard, no features hidden in submenus. You create your sequence, import your contacts, launch. That's it.

Onboarding is immediate — in 30 minutes, your first campaign is running. The UX reflects the tool's philosophy: effective, no frills. I appreciate this functional minimalism.

Is it worth it?

It's the best value for money in the cold email market. At 29€/month per inbox, with warmup included, you have everything needed for effective campaigns. US competitors (Lemlist, Instantly) are often 2x more expensive for comparable features.

For agencies, multi-accounts with degressive pricing is a game-changer. You can manage 10+ clients without blowing the budget. ROI is almost immediate if you do outbound seriously.

What I like

  • Perfect for pure and effective cold email with unbeatable value for money
  • Ideal for multi-account agencies
  • Excellent for teams who want simplicity without frills

What I like less

  • Not suited for complex multichannel as there's no LinkedIn or calls integrated
  • Limited for very advanced reporting
  • Lacks deep integrations with enterprise CRMs
