Pipedrive

The CRM focused on sales pipeline management with a visual drag and drop interface. Simple, effective and cheaper than HubSpot for pure CRM. Perfect for sales teams who just want to manage their deals.

My verdict: the sales CRM without the bloat.

Pipedrive does one thing well: manage your sales pipeline. Simple, visual, effective. The CRM focused on sales pipeline management. Pipedrive is designed for pure sales teams: pipeline visualization, deal management, task automation, and reporting. The interface is intuitive and visual. Fewer marketing features than HubSpot, but simpler and cheaper. Starting at 14 euros per user per month, it's good value for money to start.

What I like less: no integrated marketing automation, if you need it look at HubSpot. Customization is limited compared to more flexible CRMs like Attio. The integration ecosystem is less massive than HubSpot. And the interface is starting to look dated compared to new entrants.

My advice: choose Pipedrive if you're a sales team that wants a simple and effective CRM. If you also have marketing needs, look at HubSpot or Pipedrive plus a separate marketing tool. If you want flexibility and customization, look at Attio.

Why add it to your stack?

How much?

Starting at 14

Starting at 14 euros/user/month for Essential, up to 99 euros/user for Enterprise.

The detailed verdict

Do I really need this?

A good sales CRM, but clearly replaceable. Free HubSpot, Attio or even a well-configured Notion are valid alternatives. No major lock-in.

Does it play nice with my stack?

Solid integration ecosystem but less massive than HubSpot. For advanced needs, you'll often need to go through Zapier or custom development. Some native integrations are missing.

Is it easy to pick up?

Very easy to pick up. You're operational in a few hours. That's Pipedrive's major strong point against more complex CRMs.

Is the UX any good?

The interface is intuitive and visual with pleasant drag and drop. However, it's less modern than alternatives like Attio. The mobile app is decent without being exceptional.

Is it worth it?

14 euros per user per month for Essential is good value for money. Cheaper than HubSpot for pure CRM. However, higher plans quickly become expensive and per-user pricing can explode with a growing team.

What I like

  • Pure sales teams who want simple and effective without marketing bloat
  • Visual pipeline management with drag and drop for SMEs and startups
  • Excellent value for money starting at 14 euros per user

What I like less

  • Those who want integrated marketing automation as HubSpot is better
  • Teams who need advanced customization as Attio is more flexible
  • Less massive integration ecosystem than market leaders
