Review by a Growth Engineer

My verdict: the best value for money in no-code automation.

Make offers the power that growth and ops need, with fair pricing and a beautiful visual builder. The sweet spot between power and accessibility.

Make (formerly Integromat) offers a beautiful visual builder to create complex workflows with conditional logic, loops, and data transformation. 2000+ integrations, per-operation pricing (fairer than Zapier), and an active community with ready-to-use templates. Starting at $9/month for 10k operations, it's the best value for money on the market. The interface can be intimidating at first, but once you get the logic, it's ultra-powerful.

What I like less: the learning curve is real. Complete beginners should start with Zapier. And it's cloud-only, no self-hosting possible (unlike n8n).

My advice: start with Zapier if you've never done automation. Migrate to Make as soon as you hit Zapier's limits or the pricing becomes prohibitive. And if you want total control with self-hosting, look at n8n.

Why add it to your stack?

It's my go-to for no-code automation when I don't want to bring out n8n. Best value for money on the market, with power close to n8n but without having to manage infrastructure.

What you can do with it

  • 1Create complex automations with conditions, loops and data transformations
  • 2Connect your tools and automatically sync CRM data
  • 3Create alert systems based on events in your tools
  • 4Chain multiple APIs to automatically enrich your leads

What it does

  • Visual workflow builder
  • 2000+ integrations
  • Conditional logic and loops
  • Advanced data transformation
  • Per-operation pricing (fair)

How much?

Starting at 9

Starting at $9/month for 10k operations. Plans up to several hundred dollars for large volumes.

The detailed verdict

Do I really need this?

For ops and growth, it's become a daily tool. Hard to do without once you've tasted automation.

Does it play nice with my stack?

2000+ integrations covering 99% of needs. And you can always use webhooks/HTTP for the rest.

Is it easy to pick up?

More complex than Zapier at the start, but much more powerful. A day to master the basics, a week to be really comfortable.

Is the UX any good?

The visual builder is beautiful and intuitive once you understand the logic. The learning curve is there but worth it.

Is it worth it?

$9/month for 10k operations is the best value for money on the market. Much cheaper than Zapier for equivalent features.

What I like

  • Growth marketers and ops who want power without coding
  • Workflows with complex logic, loops and conditions
  • Best price-to-features ratio on the market for medium budgets

What I like less

  • Complete beginners who should start with Zapier
  • Ultra-simple workflows where it's overkill
  • Those who want self-hosting as it's cloud-only
