Data Enrichment

Societe.com

The French company database to create prospecting lists quickly. Very simple to use even without technical skills. The data is also available as Open Data for free if you know where to look.

Review by a Growth Engineer

My verdict: the quick solution for French company lists.

Societe.com is practical but the data is accessible for free elsewhere if you know where to look. The base for creating a prospecting list on local data. It's very fast, very simple and usable by anyone. However, it's a bit expensive and you can get most of the data simply by playing with Open Data if you know a bit about it.

What I like less: the price for data that is public and freely accessible via Open Data (INSEE, data.gouv.fr). You're essentially paying for ease of use.

My advice: if you need lists quickly and don't have the time/skills to leverage Open Data, Societe.com does the job. Otherwise, check out Pappers (often cheaper) or learn to use Open Data directly.
