My verdict: voice dictation that actually works.

Super Wispr uses OpenAI's Whisper locally for fast and accurate transcription. No cloud, no latency, no privacy concerns. For those who think faster than they type, it's a productivity multiplier. It's become an indispensable tool for me, I use it enormously. Super Wispr transforms voice to text with incredible accuracy in any app. For working by voice and gaining speed, it's the top. The AI perfectly understands context and punctuation.

What I like less: Mac-only (no Windows or Linux version), requires a quiet environment, learning curve to speak "naturally", no advanced contextual correction.

My advice: test for a week for writing emails. If it matches your work style, you won't go back to the keyboard for long texts.

Why add it to your stack?

When I need to write a long email or document, speaking is 3x faster than typing.

What you can do with it

  • 1Dictate your emails, notes and documents directly in any Mac application
  • 2Capture your ideas out loud during brainstorming, more natural than typing
  • 3Write long messages without keyboard fatigue thanks to instant transcription
  • 4Work faster by speaking rather than typing for all your daily texts

What it does

  • Local voice dictation (Whisper)
  • Works in all apps
  • Local processing (private)
  • Multilingual
  • Keyboard shortcuts
